has completed!!!
That was fast...wasn't it? All and all the entire shoot went smoother than we could have hoped for, and other than a small spat with the location owner, everyone claims to have had a GREAT time. But we'll get them to stop by the site and tell you themselves in due time.

Until then...we've got a couple of things to hold you over.

We DID promise some stills, so here's a small tease AND the FIRST OFFICIAL shot from the short film.

These are a side by side comparison as to what the film looked like when we photographed it (left), and what it will (HOPEFULLY) look like after the color correction process (more or less). Good? Yes? No?

Moving on:

A mere day after photography on 'A SECTION 8' wrapped, BRENNAN received an E-mail from actor TRAVIS FOWLER ('RALPH'). We would like to share it with you:

Brennan,
just wanted to thank you again for the opportunity to be part of your film. I was extremely pleased with my experience. Since Sunday I have been sitting and thinking of how I should have done this or that, and wishing I could redo alot of the stuff we did on Sunday. I hope that you can salvage some stuff from alot of the crap I did on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing the result. Everyone else was awesome too. I got along great with your entire crew and they made me feel totally accepted and part of the Once Lost family... I hope that your were pleased with me enough to know that I would love to continue a relationship with OLP for future projects as well. Thanks again and good luck in the editing...

That e-mail is one of the coolest and touching things we've EVER received. We would like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE who worked on this short film with us. We couldn't have asked for a better cast and crew (especially our ONE AND ONLY P.A. MATT!!! Who worked his ASS OFF keeping EVERYONE on set happy)!!!

fistLET'S SHOOT THIS F@%KER!!!: Part II

My do we have a TON of stuff to update about today. So let's DIVE RIGHT IN!!!
First order of business: WE FINALLY HAVE A NAME FOR OUR SHORT!!! AND some nifty title art. With great pleasure...we give you BOTH:

Now before anything is said, YES we did in fact rip the title artwork from the cover of a popular video game. Normally something like this wouldn't be our thing, but in the case of our short, we think/hope it's okay. *SHHH* (honestly we just thought it looked REALLY F'n cool!!! So we borrowed it. We'll give it back if they ask for it...we promise)

Next on the chopping block: We wanted to share with you the official synopsis for the NOW titled short 'A SECTION 8'. AND HERE IT IS:

In the early morning hours succeeding a night of hell; two strangers must find a way to survive an inescapable situation.

FUN! Don't you think? Now...onward to... THE SUPER SWEET NEWS!!!

'A SECTION 8' has already started second unit photography, with principal photography beginning in only a few short days (May 7th 2006)!!! ROCK!!! Are you ecstatic? WE ARE! We managed to land an awesome cast and crew for this project(and the second unit footage thus far looks GREAT)! So *FINGERS CROSSED* We'll be sure to include a ton of stills from the set in our next update! SO KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR THAT!
