Hugs & Bloody Kisses: A Letter From LAURIE!!!

I have decided to take some time out to pursue my own projects right now, and also to take care of the mad scientist's and my little monster Jordan. This decision was mine and mine alone and I may be back some time in the future when my schedule is less hectic. Please feel free to spread rumors of me getting fired for my addiction to eating the fake blood on set or how I got drunk and beat up the rest of the crew, because remember, fiction is always more entertaining than truth.

SCREEEEEECH!!!: OUR SCHEDULE & OUR CANON

Our wonderful schedule that we had so well thought out and put together...well...your guess is as good as ours at the moment, things change quickly around here. As soon as we have a new one in place...we'll let everyone know! The only thing that has thus far remained in tact is our short film. Now TENTATIVELY titled 'DAYLIGHT', the film is still in pre-production and moving along smoothly.

In other things going on about and around the OLP office: In our attempt to keep the general public above, below, left, right, diagonally, in front of and behind the scenes, we introduce to you the newest member of our little family:

A small, modest mini DV camera that we intend to use for promo stuff, our short films, and possibly even a feature! Exciting isn't it? More info on the reason(s) for our changes and more coming soon? And one of these days, we may actually make a FILM too!!!

BRIEF ANNOUNCEMENT

We feel (though it is important to include EVERYONE with all things ONCE LOST) that we do not, at the moment, have a need for it. By that we mean, we work very hard, and do everything we can in this crazy business to the best of our ability in order to get our projects off the ground. BUT, until ANY of our films are 'in the can', we see no reason to advertise or promote them (other than with in the confines of our site updates/the DEVELOPMENT, PRE-PRODUCTION and PRODUCTION departments). So there you have it. Now let's all keep our fingers crossed that it goes back up REAL SOON!!!

LET'S SHOOT THIS F@%KER!!!: Part I

And we have successfully come up with a solid game plan/tentative schedule for the Spring/Summer of 2006. First up: our upcoming short film 'DAYLIGHT' is moving along VERY nicely with casting having started (somewhat), and all members of our modest crew have been filling in slowly but wonderfully as well.

After completion of 'DAYLIGHT', we then have plans to lens two 'investor trailers' (in an attempt to attract interest and get full backing for one or both of our feature projects locked). One will be for our slasher styled feature 'THE HELL HOUSE', and the other for our anthology project 'THE HORRORSHOW'.

IN WEBSITE NEWS!!! Just because the site is launched, doesn't mean we get any SLEEP!!! In recent developments, we've added a banner for the OFFICIAL site of our very good friend, Actor, JOHN H. TOBIN!!! (pictured here in 'THE DEVIL'S REJECTS'). We are also working on a few little things here and there for the near future to keep our home on the WWW interesting and fun. So keep your eyes open wide!!!

Of course, we will (as always) be keeping all of you posted on the progression of these 'to do's' as they happen. So STAY TUNED for more info on everything SOON!!!

New Year...New Look!!!: Site Re-Launch

As we are sure many of you noticed, we have been lacking in the 'updates' area of our 'THE HELL HOUSE' based site. So we decided it would be in everyone's best interest if we expanded and modified our little corner of the web to cover ALL things ONCE LOST, as oppose to just one film.

That being said, as we are on the subject of change, now would also be a good time to announce our OFFICIAL MERGE with NO GOOD DESIGNS!!! Though both companies are still independent of one another, we are at the same time (kind of sort of) one in the same. Confusing? Let's just simplify it and say that the merger helps both ONCE LOST and NO GOOD further a plan of multimedia domination!

IN OTHER NEWS... a TON of work has been going on at ONCE LOST HQ, instead of boring you with all of the details, here is a quick photomontage of the 'going on's' around the office.
